PDMB admission as associate member of ADC (Asian Dance Council) on 27 th September 2008, and also admitted to the WDC –Amateur League in 2007, was a milestone for the Professional Body to embrace the WORLD DANCE COUNCIL objectives to unite the ballroom dancers to have better representation in any form of organized competitions be it sports or art form. PDMB‘s objectives is to play a complimentary role in WDC's efforts in building and gathering momentum and strength in promoting and organizing ballroom dance competitions, workshops to raise the standard of dancing in Malaysia and to alleviate the competitiveness in competitions in the Asian region and also create greater awareness of WDC's aims and policies through the effort of WDC-Amateur League in (freedom of choice in participation & adjudicating)
